  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 black olives, sliced into rounds
  • 1 small jar of sliced green olives, with pimentos

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form the meat mixture into small meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs bake, warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. To assemble, toss the cooked spaghetti in the marinara sauce until coated. Divide the spaghetti among plates.
  8. Place a meatball on each serving of spaghetti, then add a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Place a slice of black olive on each meatball, securing it with a dab of mozzarella to form an “eyeball.”
  10. Decorate with green olive slices around the plate for extra spookiness. Serve immediately and enjoy!
