Ingredients
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, melted butter, wheat germ, honey, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Press mixture evenly into the prepared pan. If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips and dried fruit over the top and press slightly to embed.
