Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 oz (60 ml) tequila (silver or reposado for a smooth, crisp taste)
  • 3 oz (90 ml) fresh apple cider
  • 1 oz (30 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for rimming)
  • Ice
  • Garnishes: cinnamon stick, apple slice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glass by rimming it with a mix of cinnamon and sugar. To do this, dip the rim in lime juice, then into a plate with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, apple cider, lime juice, and Cointreau. Add a handful of ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds to chill and blend the flavors.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice, if desired.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an apple slice for a festive touch.
